October 24, 2009. A giant facility with all kinds of vintage railroad rolling stock and lots of signs providing interesting information. The kids liked what they saw.
The museum had a special room for kids. Youngsters could build things and move trains along wooden rails. There was enough stuff that the kids got absorbed in the whole room.
Lots of places for "kids" to climb aboard and have their photo taken.
Another neat feature of the museum is a large walkway above the main floor, so one could look down on equipment and have a great photography location.
The museum is a great place for grownups and kids.
