October 22, 2009.  After visiting the Indian Echo Caverns, the next stop was lunch and the Science Center.  Sherry and Lauren met up with Scott, Laura and Liam at Duke's Riverside Cafe along the Susquehanna River in Harrisburg.  The weather was sunny and 73 degrees.

From the moment they met, Lauren became "the babysitter".  She attended to Liam's needs by wiping his hands and mouth after lunch.  They both enjoyed each others company.

Duke's had some interesting food, Scott ordered some kind of buffalo chicken pretzel.

At the museum, there were lots of "hands on " things to touch, turn, push and twist.  Lauren again enjoyed her "baby sitter" role.

Sherry played with the gyro exhibit and was able to move her seat by just moving the axis of the gyro.

Sherry and Scott played an interactive video sport.  As they moved about, the video screen followed them and they played goalie during a Soccer Match.

Sherry, Laura and Scott tryout the pulley exhibit.  There were three levels of mechanical advantage, Sherry had to pull her full weight, Laura pulled half her weight and Scott pulled 1/3 his weight.  There were various levels of success here.  Paddy and Laura looked on.

At the Hurricane exhibit, Sherry turned on the 91 mile per hour wind machine.

After a short break, the next plan was to have dinner at a local brewery.

We all had a most enjoyable dinner, and once again, Lauren and Liam had fun together.

Liam discovered how cool it would be to pull Lauren's hair to check out her reaction.

It was a great day for everyone !
