May 11, 2009. The weather was great and we thought it would be a nice trip to have lunch at Ocean Grove, NJ and check out the festival.
From internet information, we expected a small festival and it was indeed small and more like an arts and crafts festival. The location was very near The Great Auditorium. Lots of jewelry and paintings.
When I saw this guy, I told him that as a kid, I put a quarter under my pillow. He jokingly said that now, kids put a fish under their pillow and get one of his shark's teeth. After he retired, he changed his shark tooth hobby into a necklace business.
Near the crafts tents was live music and very talented musicians entertained.
As planned, we strolled two blocks away to the center of town for lunch. Food was excellent and the shops and vendors were open for business.
